Old Baldy
This is an unofficial (not marked) trail and I can see why. After a long hike through the bush and trees I found parts of the trail a little dangerous. These were the high spots above the creek where once mis-step and you might be crashing down 20 or 30 feet onto some rocks. Just have to be careful! But the valley was very nice, unfortunately (or not) we made a miscalculation at the end. We climbed the hill on the right hand side when the actual trail went to the left. This hill was extremely steep and I could barely manage more than three or four steps without having to stop. But it was worth it at the end! Going back down was a bit dangerous as we had to be sure not to send loose rocks and boulders crashing down on others. I did send one that just missed Rob. I thought it would be tough going down but the loose rock and mud just gathered around my boots and I slid down almost like skiing in the mush!
