| Back to Calgary |
| This was the day we started back for home. It worked out well as it was pretty rainy. We stopped for a bit at the Athabasca Glacier but it was very cold and foggy. This Glacier is the starting point for the Athabasca River and it is also quite near the spot where there is a sort of triple continental divide, with some water flowing to the Pacific, some to the Atlantic (Mississipi) and the Athabasca which flows to the Arctic Ocean. Also some nice pictures of Moraine Lake (see the old ten dollar bill!) |
