Mount Indefatigueable
We didn't make it to the Outlier ridge this time, which is about 810 metres of vertical, but we almost got there! This is a truly spectacular trail with great views of both the Lower and Upper Kananaskis Lakes. It is a steep climb but really not so difficult. The pictures don't show it, but we had a touch of snow on the way back. From the cirque where we had lunch there is a picture of some hikers doing the loop from the outline along the ridge to the main mountain (just over 1,000 metres). Very dangerous on a windy day as there is a very narrow spot only a foot or so wide and a few thousand feet down on either side. One of the best scenic hikes to do!
