| Barrier Lake |
| This trail provides a very nice view of Barrier Lake and the mountains beyond. It can be easy or tough, depending on whether you do that last assault to the fire lookout, which provides view in different directions and even, I think, Mount Assiniboine. We have done this trail many times because it is less than an hour from home. I think the latest we went was Dec 30th one year. The lookout is about 570 metres of vertical. |
