Tree Pose

 

   

How to

From standing, take the right foot to the inner left thigh.  Inhale as you lift the arms up over the head, gazing to the thumbs.  Feel the shoulders moving down and forward.

 

Modifications

Take the hands shoulder distance apart.  Look forward.

You may keep the hands in a prayer at the center of the chest.

The right foot may come anywhere on the left leg that works, even against the ankle.
