Urdva Tadasana

Upwards Mountain Pose

How to

From samastiti, inhale as you raise your arms up over your head.  Feel the shoulders moving down the back as they rotate forward and take the little finger sides of the hands together, pressing lightly there.  The rest of the hands will gently touch.  Look up to the thumbs.

Modifications

Bend the elbows and move them slightly toward each other, this will help to create the forward rotation in the shoulders that helps to create room for the neck.

Keep the hands shoulder distance apart. Working on bringing the shoulders down.

Look straight forward.
