Bakasana

Crow Pose

Drishti: slightly forward of the hands, straight forward, or third eye

How to

Squat on the feet.  Take the hands in front of the feet and bend the elbows so that you can take your knees to the backs of your arms.  Keep the knees glued there as you begin to lift your hips up.  Now lift the heels up off the floor.

Looking forward, start to shift the shoulders and chest toward the spot that you are looking to (it could be a spot a few feet in front of you on the floor, but it should not be directly in front, looking down will not allow you to shift weight from your feet into your hands, and you'll never get up.)

Modifications

Keep the feet on the floor.  Just work on getting weight into the hands.  The feet don't really matter anyway - eventually they'll lift on their own as a consequence of the shift in balance, you don't need to worry about them.
