Equal Standing

Drishti: tip of the nose or straight forward

 

How to

Stand with feet together, toes and ankles touching.  The arms may either be at the sides or in a prayer at the center of the chest.  Gaze forward or to the tip of the nose.  Notice the feet grounding, the legs strong as the thighs spiral toward each other.  The shoulders move down along the back.

 

Modifications

The feet may come hip distance apart.
