Rob's Tribute to his Mother She was my mother. She knew how to love better than anyone I’ve ever known. Her faith was stronger than I could understand; in god, and in the people that she loved. She was warm. Tender. Kind. Insightful. Silly. She always worried, sometimes too much. She was frightened. Courageous. Stronger than I know how to be. She was a teacher. She taught Bob how to love her in return and she helped him become someone worth being. She taught Michael to care, for himself and others. She taught Peggy how to follow her heart. She taught me to believe. She taught Tricia to be true to herself. And she probably taught each of you something worth knowing. She was a fighter. She fought for us constantly, and in the end she fought for life harder than we could stand. But most of all she was my mother and I loved her. And now she is gone.
